Hey my name is Shamaine “$HAMAINE M$NEY” Darden but in the music world I am DJ So Styles. I am an 18 year old Female DJ from Boston, MA (Roxbury). I started DJ’ing 4 years old when I was 14 and never looked back. I am currently in my last year of High School at Fenway High School. Music has always been apart of my life due to my Father. I listened to classical/funky/smooth Jazz before anything else but when he did introduce me to Hip-hop it was all she wrote. I listen to everything so you’ll hear everything from me. I have grown a very loyal fan base in New Orleans with the Bounce culture and I am so humble, I want to reach out to other states and get you’ll listening also.
During his recent interview with Angie Martinez on New York’s Hot 97, Kanye West confirmed that he has formed a partnership with Adidas. “So then I start turning up in the BBC interview,” Kanye explains. “So [Nike] said, ok cool, we’re gonna give you a bigger sandbox to play in. We’re gonna give you this amount right here to design, and two collections a year, and 30 SKU — that’s the amount of items that you have. Would that make you happy, Kanye?” And rightfully so, Kanye replied: “I need royalties.” Nike reportedly told him that was not possible because he is not a professional athlete. To which he righteously replied, “I go to the Garden and play one-on-none. I’m a performance athlete.” He continued, “So the old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nike’s so much. But the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.” via Brian Farmer from High Snobiety x Fashion
Busta Rhymes came back and came back hard with this new track sampling the classic song by Alicia Myers “Thank You”. It features Lil Wayne, Q-tip and Kanye West. I thought it would be a good idea to bring the old to the new and do a good ol mix. Enjoy!
“The Plan” featuring Juicy J is considered to be one of if not the best songs off of Wiz Khalifa’s sophomore album “O.N.I.F.C”. The song is produced by Pittsburgh’s own I.D Labs. The song is very airy and honestly a song you’d get high too, to make it even more trippy I slowed it down. If there are anymore song’s you’ll would like to hear slowed just get at me on twitter and tell me. Enjoy!
